Steel cutting for the structure's 10,000-tonne topsides – which will measure 98 metres by 42 metres, and be more than 27 metres tall – got underway at the company's Zwijndrecht facility, to be followed by fabrication of its jacket and bridge-link at Heerema's Vlissingen yard.

Being built for TenneT under a deal between engineering giant Siemens and Heerema, the platform will serve a large wind farm cluster in the Heligoland area of the German North Sea, converting its power production into direct current for transmission to shore via subsea cables.
