Obama ordered Ralls – a company with close links to Chinese machinery giant Sany – to divest its interests in four planned wind developments of 10MW each near a US Navy facility in Oregon.
The wind sites are on or near restricted airspace at the Naval Weapons Systems Training Facility in Boardman, which sends high-tech electronic-warfare aircraft and unmanned drones on training missions.
