The US billionaire is involved in a furious public row with Scotland’s government over plans to build an offshore wind farm near his $1.2bn luxury golf resort in Aberdeenshire.
Now the Scottish Parliament’s Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee says it will invite his Trump Organisation to appear at its inquiry into Scotland’s renewable energy targets.
Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) Murdo Fraser, who heads the committee, says: “From our preliminary discussions with the Trump Organisation, it was obvious the strength of views they had.
