The project was developed by Globeleq Mesoamerica Energy and operates through its subsidiary, Energía Eólica de Honduras (EEH).

Built by Gamesa and Iberdrola Engineering – and equipped with 51 of Gamesa’s G87 2MW turbines – the site will boost Honduras’ installed wind capacity by 8%.
