This summer the Moray Firth zone – awarded to EDP Renewables (EDPR) and Repsol in 2010 – became the first Round 3 project to see its planning application submitted to government.
Aberdeenshire Council was a key statutory consultee in the Moray Firth consultation period that began in August, and its view carries significant weight with Marine Scotland, the government agency overseeing development in Scottish waters.
