Skyline Renewables, the new US renewables developer led by former Iberdrola Renewables chief executive Martin Mugica, has agreed to acquire its second project – buying the 166MW Hackberry wind farm in Texas from RES Americas.
Skyline will “clean up” the existing capital structure of the decade-old Hackberry project, including buying out the tax-equity interests from GE Energy Financial Services and the cash equity interests from RES, while also restructuring the project debt facility.
