A looming dip in German onshore wind expansion is a “huge hit for the industry” fuelled by a lack of construction permits in the market, Vestas’ sales chief for the country told Recharge.
“We expect a significant drop in volume next year, which will hit all the manufacturers and all of our customers pretty hard,” Alex Robertson, vice president for sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland told Recharge.
