A £10m ($13.1m) operations and maintenance (O&M) base is to be built in the UK port of Harwich to serve Innogy’s 353MW Galloper offshore wind farm, located about 30km off the coast of Suffolk, eastern England.

Tendring District Council and the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) have given the go ahead for the multi-million pound base which will be home for a team of around 60 who will operate and maintain the wind farm during its operational lifetime of more than 20 years.
