Danish offshore vessel specialist Esvagt is to provide two new service operation vessels (SOVs) under a long-term contract with turbine-maker MHI Vestas for wind farms in the Dutch and UK North Sea.

Esvagt said the two new vessels will be used on the 731MW Borssele 3&4 offshore wind project in the Dutch part of the North Sea, and for the 860MW Triton Knoll that is under development off the east coast of England.
