The US Department of the Interior (DOI) will hold a 17 September stakeholder meeting in Sacramento as it continues efforts to overcome permitting hurdles for commercial wind energy development in federal waters off California’s coast.
The meeting’s purpose is to review and discuss issuance of a Call for Information and Nominations on areas for potential leasing, the next step in the wind energy commercial leasing process directed by DOI’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM).
