The offshore wind industry’s largest floatel, the newly-refurbished 142 metre MV Bluefort, has made its debut on the market and is already contracted with Spanish player Iberdrola.
Owned by Bridgemans Services Group LP (BSG), MV Bluefort has bow and stern thrusters that increase its capabilities in tough offshore conditions, enabling it to remain steady at anchor in seas with up to six-metre wave height.
