German turbine OEM Senvion has announced GE Renewable Energy and Alstom veteran Yves Rannou as its new chief executive, three months after Jürgen Geissinger stepped down from the top position, bringing fresh eyes as the company looks to regain its footing.

Rannou, currently CEO of GE Renewable Energy’s hydropower division, will take the reins by March 2019 at the latest – replacing Manav Sharma, who currently serves as acting CEO in addition to his role as chief financial officer.
