Salesforce, the US cloud-computing giant, has confirmed an 80MW virtual power-purchase agreement with EDP Renewables North America for the 205MW Bright Stalk wind project in Illinois due on line next year.
In July EDPR unveiled 405MW of PPAs in the Midwestern states of Illinois and Indiana but did not reveal the off-takers. Since then, Facebook was announced as the buyer of 139MW of output from the 200MW Headwaters II project underway in Indiana.
