Italy’s Prysmian Group has won contracts worth more than €200m ($234m) for the design, supply and installation of inter-array cables at two French offshore wind projects, and together with Louis Dreyfus Travocean is in the process of securing a third French offshore cable contract worth over €20m.

“These new important awards confirm that we have all the capabilities to achieve our ambitious growth targets in the offshore wind farm market,” said Hakan Ozmen, executive vice president in the projects business unit at Prysmian.
