Argentina inaugurated the 99MW La Castellana wind farm, the second wind project contracted under the 2016 RenovAr renewable energy programme as doubts persist over the timing of the scheme's next procurement round.
The new addition means Argentina’s wind capacity jumps from 279MW in 2016 before the RenovAr tenders started to 479MW now. In May, Pampa Energía inaugurated the 100MW Corti wind farm.
