The European Commission, under EU State aid rules, has approved three Danish schemes worth a total of €144m ($166m) to support the production of electricity from wind and solar in 2018 and 2019.
The first is a multi-technology tender scheme, worth €112m, is for onshore and offshore wind turbines and solar installations.
The beneficiaries will be selected through two tenders held this year and next, with the different technologies competing with each other.
