Approval granted for Sapphire hybrid project in New South Wales

Australia’s CWP Renewables has won state government approval for a plan to expand its existing 270MW Sapphire wind farm in New South Wales into a renewables hub with the addition of solar and energy storage.

The local developer said it had received approval from the New South Wales department of planning and environment for the 200MW solar and storage project.
