Argentina’s YPF Luz, the power generation unit of state energy company YPF, has signed a 10-year PPA to supply power to Toyota's Zárate assembly plant, responsible for a quarter of the car maker's production in the country.
The power will come from YPF Luz’s 100MW Manantiales Behr and 122MW Los Teros wind farms, both under construction. Manantiales Behr is expected to start production in the coming weeks and Los Teros should be operational by late 2019, YPF says.
