Canada’s Northland Power reported an increase in sales and net income for the second quarter under new CEO Mike Crawley, as it laid the groundwork for future growth by winning big in Taiwan’s recent offshore wind allocations.

Northland’s sales increased 5% in the second quarter, to C$338.2m ($259m), thanks to a gusher of new generation at its Nordsee One offshore wind farm off Germany, completed at the end of 2017.
