American Electric Power has informed utility regulatory commissions in Oklahoma and Texas that it cannot wait beyond 31 August for them to approve conditions sought by the company for construction of its massive $4.5bn, 2GW Wind Catcher project.
“We at AEP are bound by externalities that we have limited or no control driving the need to move forward,” chief executive Nick Atkins said on a conference call Wednesday.
