BayWa r.e. has secured a power-purchase agreement for the full output from its 101MW Strauss wind project in California, in what would be one of the largest wind farms built in the Golden State in recent years.

BayWa r.e., the renewables arm of German conglomerate BayWa, says it will sell 100% of the electricity generated at the Strauss project to MCE, a community-choice aggregator that supplies renewable power to nearly half a million customers near San Francisco.
