The Nordex Group has unveiled its largest-ever single contract, a second-quarter deal to supply Italy's Enel Green Power with 191 of its AW125 turbines for the 595MW Lagoa dos Ventos wind farm in the northeastern Brazilian state of Piauí.
The machines with a power rating of 3.15 or 3.0MW will be mounted on top of 120-metre concrete towers, which the Germany-based manufacturer will produce locally in Brazil.
