Danish wind OEM Vestas over the weekend unveiled a flurry of turbine orders from France, Bolivia, the US and the Dominican Republic, announcing deals worth 398MW in the final days of the second quarter.
The latest batch took Vestas’s Q2 total of announced orders to 2.69GW, with smaller unannounced deals still to be disclosed. That means the OEM has already beaten its order tally for the second quarter of 2017, when announced and unannounced deals totalled 2.67GW.
