France’s EDF has sold a 49% minority stake in a 550.5MW portfolio of UK wind farms to Dalmore Capital and Pensions Infrastructure Platform for £701m ($922m).

EDF Renewables will continue to own a 51% share in the 24 UK projects and will continue to run the sites and provide operations and maintenance, and asset management services.

The deal shows the increasing appetite from pensions funds and infrastructure investors in getting involved in renewable energy projects.
