The consortium behind the 731MW Borssele 3&4 offshore wind project has announced financial close, with equity partners Shell and Eneco each signing up to buy half of its output.
Borssele 3&4 will use 77, 9.5MW turbines from MHI Vestas in the Dutch part of the North Sea when it begins commercial operation in early 2021, said the Blauwwind Consortium developing the wind farm.
