Spanish renewables engineering specialist Global Energy Services (GES) will in September start construction of the 244MW Dolores wind farm in the Northeastern Mexican state of Nuevo León.

GES will be in charge of civil works including 52km of roads and the medium-voltage grid, the company said in a statement.

Dolores’ developer is Italy’s Enel Green Power, which won the contract in a long-term power tender held at the end of 2017.
