Siemens Gamesa has won its largest-ever wind turbine contract in Brazil, to supply Iberdrola’s local subsidiary Neoenergia with 136 of its SG 3.4-132 turbines for 15 wind farm developments in the north-eastern state of Paraíba.

The agreement encompasses the delivery and commissioning of the machines at the Santa Luzia complex, but the manufacturer hasn’t detailed when.

The turbines with a 65-metre-long blades will be made at SGRE’s factory in Camaçari in Bahia state.
