Global wind power additions will average more than 67GW from 2018 to 2027, MAKE Consulting says in its updated 10-year outlook, resulting in a compounded annual growth rate that exceeds 8% over the period.
The consultancy has upgrade its outlooks for several countries by more than 1GW, contributing to a global net upgrade exceeding 15GW over the period.
“Even as inventive mechanisms in several markets expire, country-level policy developments in Q2 have a significant impact on the global wind power outlook," MAKE says.
