The Scottish government has granted up to £2m of funding to the offshore wind sector with the aim of supporting innovation across the sector so as to reduce development costs.
The grants have been awarded to the Carbon Trust’s Offshore Wind Accelerator, Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult, and to Energy Skills Partnership to support the offshore wind programmes they are delivering.
