Denmark’s Orsted has expressed an interest in developing wind projects at new offshore sites around the UK coast, away from its three main development areas so far, said UK country manager Benj Sykes.
In an interview Sykes told Recharge that “Orsted expects seabed sites/zones to be on offer around the whole of the UK coastline, and not just in the North Sea, for development in the next offshore leasing round by the Crown Estate”.
