Norway’s energy minister Terje Søviknes on Wednesday is scheduled to meet with energy industry representatives to discuss a possible build-out of offshore wind in the Northern European country, a government spokesman told Recharge.
He was reacting to news first published by the Reuters news agency that the energy minister will meet with companies to talk about the potential for floating offshore wind farms, but added that the meeting will not only discuss floating, but any kind of offshore wind.
