NextEra wins 300MW follow-on corporate PPA with AT&T

NextEra Energy Resources scored a follow-on 300MW corporate wind PPA with US telecommunications giant AT&T, building on a 520MW deal the two announced in February.

Timed to coincide with Global Wind Day and the groundbreaking ceremony at one of the earlier AT&T-backed projects in Texas, the companies said they will build another 300MW of wind at two projects in Wilbarger and Hardeman Counties, Texas.
