Deepwater Wind emerged as the biggest winner in Connecticut's clean-energy tender with a 200MW offshore wind proposal, the developer's second big win in the past few weeks.
Deepwater once again competed against rival developers Orsted and Vineyard Wind for a contract in Connecticut, whose 200MW procurement comes on top of the 1.2GW of combined offshore wind capacity recently awarded by Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
