South Dakota approves Geronimo's 400MW Crocker project

On its second try, US renewables developer Geronimo Energy secured regulatory approval for its contentious Crocker wind project in South Dakota, albeit with a number of conditions imposed on it.

The South Dakota Utilities Commission (PUC) earlier this month signed off on a construction permit for Crocker, which could hold up to 120 turbines and 400MW of capacity, and reach completion by the end of 2019 in Clark County.
