Serbia has landed support for two of its renewable energy projects after the Green for Growth Fund (GGF) invested €32.5m ($40m) in two wind farms in the country.
The GGF, which invests in measures designed to cut energy use and CO2 emissions across multiple countries, aims to support Serbia’s commitment to achieve 27% of its energy consumption from renewable energy sources by 2020.
