Global wind and solar developer Mainstream Renewable Power (MRP) has closed a deal to finance two wind farms with a combined capacity of 250MW in South Africa’s Northern and Western Capes.
A consortium led by Mainstream was awarded the wind farm contracts by South Africa’s Department of Energy under the fourth round of the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP).
