EDP Renewables has sealed two US wind power off-take agreements totaling 150MW – one with an unnamed corporate customer and the other with Wabash Valley Power Association, an electric generation and transmission cooperative in the state of Indiana.
The 50MW corporate transaction is for 15-years and the Wabash Valley deal covers 100MW for more than 20 years.
Both power purchase agreements involve the Broadlands wind farm under construction in Illinois with commercial operation targeted for 2019.
