Dallas-based Tri Global Energy led all investors during the first quarter in Texas with 3.11GW of wind power capacity under construction and in advanced development, about 46% of total sector activity there.
Texas is the US largest wind capacity state with 22.8GW installed on 31 March, according to AWEA.
The company on 31 March had 15 projects in its advanced Texas pipeline or under construction, according to American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) data.
