Dutch utility Eneco has awarded wind OEM Siemens Gamesa a 5-year contract for the refurbishment of wind turbine gearboxes at the 120MW Princess Amalia wind farm, off the Netherlands.
Under the deal, with an undisclosed value, Siemens Gamesa will maintain and refurbish the gearboxes of 60 Vestas V80-2.0MW wind turbines.
The scope of the work includes the initial supply of up to four gearboxes of the type ZF-EH804, fully equipped with all auxiliaries.
