Canada’s Innergex Renewable Energy and Chicago-based Lincoln Clean Energy have signed power off-take agreements for wind projects under construction in Texas.
Innergex says an affiliate of competitive power generator Luminant will begin buying 300MW of electricity annually over a 12-year period when its Foard City wind project enters commercial operation in third quarter 2019.
Neither Innergex or Luminant made details of the transaction public.
