German utility E.ON via its E.ON Climate & Renewables unit is taking over a 300MW onshore wind pipeline from Kassel, Germany-based Vortex Energy as part of a strategy to produce more wind energy in its home country.
Vortex has been developing, building and operating onshore wind farms in Germany since 2004. Its project pipeline also includes a large number of projects at an early stage of development.
