The CEO of Iberdrola-owned utility ScottishPower urged the UK government “to secure the future of onshore wind” by putting it at the heart of the country’s new industrial strategy, joining Scottish leader Nicola Sturgeon in backing the renewable source.
“I can’t quite believe that I am standing here once again still making the case for onshore wind when the vast majority of people in the UK actually want it to be built,” Keith Anderson told the All-Energy conference in Glasgow.
