Profit at Orsted soared in the first quarter of 2018 amid a steep rise in offshore wind earnings and an increase in the overall share of renewables at the Danish utility.
“The offshore wind business has performed very well in the first quarter with high yields from our operating assets and good progress on our construction projects,” chief executive Henrik Poulsen said.
