NextEra Energy, which along with its yieldco NextEra Energy Partners (NEP) is North America’s largest wind and solar generator, added more than 1GW of new projects to its backlog in the first quarter as it presses on with its immense 10GW+ near-term build-out programme.
On an adjusted basis, NextEra Energy Resources, the company’s independent generation arm, chalked up earnings for its parent company of $386m, or $0.81
