After the signing of a power purchase agreement by public-sector utility Eskom, the contract for the installation of the 147MW Roggeveld wind farm in South African has been confirmed, the Nordex Group says.
The OEM will supply 47 of its AW125/3150 and AW125/3000 turbines with a capacity factor of more than 47%. The contract comprises the delivery of the turbines including towers, which are to be produced in South Africa, as well as an at least 15-year service agreement.
