The Danish government has unveiled plans for a new 800MW offshore wind farm, but the industry hopes upcoming negotiations will further expand the nation’s offshore ambitions into the next decade.

The plan – outlined in an article by Denmark’s Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and energy, supply and climate minister Lars Christian Lilleholt of the Venstre party published in Berlingske on Monday – would see the wind farm commissioned between 2024 and 2027.
