Canadian renewables developer Boralex has reached agreement with Ardian Infrastructure to acquire 163MW of operating wind farms and a 168MW project pipeline in France for €129.4m (C$202m).
Quebec-based Boralex will acquire 100% of the outstanding shares of Adrian’s Kallista Energy Investment, owner of the assets, and assume €94m in project debt.
Boralex expects the transaction to close in or around late June, once regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions have been met.
