Siemens Gamesa has secured a 100MW turbine order as part of the last wind power auction held in Mexico in November 2017.
Under the agreement, the German-Spanish OEM is slated to supply 29 of its SG 3.4-132 turbines to a wind farm in the Mexican state of Coahuila in the first quarter of 2019.
“Siemens Gamesa is strongly committed to the Mexican market,” says José Antonio Miranda, chief executive of Siemens Gamesa's Americas onshore business.
