Sixty jackets for Iberdrola-owned ScottishPower Renewables’ East Anglia 1 (EA1) wind farm off eastern England have been loaded out by heavy-lift outfit Mammoet from Lamprell’s Jebel Ali and Sharjah yards in Dubai, bound for the 714MW development’s project site.

Fabrication work on the project’s 102 steel foundations was split by the developer between Lamprell and Spanish fabricator Navantia, which is building the remaining 42 jackets and piles at the Ferrol and Windar shipyards in northern Spain.
