German utility EnBW has started construction of its Hohe See and Albatros arrays in the North Sea that jointly will have a capacity of 609MW, and theoretically produce enough electricity to supply a city the size of Munich.
“EnBW Hohe See and Albatros together are the biggest offshore project currently being built in Germany,” says Dirk Güsewell, head of portfolio development at EnBW.
